Today we join Blackstone Labs sponsored athlete Susana Montez for a refreshing approach to leg day.
She takes us through a set of barbell squats, which she performs at a high volume with lower weight, making sure to to take very short breaks. This is to increase her overall endurance, as well as work on toning, shaping, and definition, as opposed to putting on mass and gaining strength.
She then goes into a set on the hip abduction machine, which she adds a little creative flair to before moving onto the leg press machine.
She finishes up her training session with a set focused on glutes. She does 10 reps, 4 sets, each leg, on the glute extension machine.
