Isolation or 3-Whey? Feat. PJ Braun and Laurin Conlin

June 29, 2016 1 min read

Coming to you live and direct from Blackstone Labs HQ in Boca Raton, FL. Today, our resident Chief Science Officer The Guerrilla Chemist becomes our host as he leads us into a heated debate between the accolades of whey protein blends versus whey isolate.

The newest edition to the Blackstone Labs family, Laurin Conlin with an "I", flexes her knowledge on the matter, backed by her master's degree in exercise science. She demonstrates the appeal of 3-Whey's ease of digestion, making it readily available for your body to rebuild and grow with. She also points out that 3-Whey is appealing to those who take the time to count their macros.

On the other side of the argument, we have Blackstone Labs CEO/President PJ Braun. While he does have a bachelor's degree in exercise science, he also boasts a breadth of real-life experience from years in competitive bodybuilding, personal training, and of course, building the supplement empire Blackstone Labs!

PJ makes no secret of his disinterest in math, specifically in counting macros, but rather takes closer attention to the quality of foods you eat. He feels that isolates are superior, given his personal experiences. He points out that isolate is great for a broader scale of users as it is digestible for people who are lactose intolerant.
