Happy #moleculemonday! Dimethylaminoethanol(DMAE) is a nootropic compound naturally found in the body. It is an excellent precursor to choline(gets methylated by SAM) and acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that helps nerve cells communicate. DMAE can help reduced concentrations of beta-amyloid in the brain, which are plaques that build up in your brain that are associated with Alzheimer's. Why I like this compound is bc it improves cognitive function and focus without stimulant effects. Like I mentioned, it readily converts to choline/acetylcholine and is a cheaper choline source compared to CDP-choline/Alpha-GPC. DMAE increases blood and oxygen flow to the brain, as well as glucose uptake which is the fuel on which your brain runs. If you've followed me for a while, you know that I'm a huge fan of nootropic compounds for preworkouts and combining them with stimulants. Daily doses of DMAE are 300-1500mg/d. DMAE is found in #dustextreme along with huperzine A and noopept to compliment the very strong stims like DMAA, higenamine and caffeine. I foresee more and more preworkouts to start including nootropic compounds.
